CH Teranjo Pegger's Golden Girl (Tawny)

Relaxing in front of the fireplace. It is time to introduce the newest member of our family, CH Teranjo Pegger's Golden Girl. We call her "Tawny". Born December 15, 2007, Tawny is the daughter of BPIS CH Teranjo Peg of our Heart (Peggy) and CH Rocheby Sovereign (GRB) (Shilling).

Tawny's mother, Peggy, followed in her parents' footsteps, mother (Molly) CH Maplekrest Teranjo Miss Molly, and father (Bonzer) MBIS, BISS, CH Driftway Billabong, the Number One lab in Canada in 2004 & 2005, and second in Canada for 2006.

And now Tawny is following in her mother's pawprints! She received her Canadian Championship at only 8 months of age following a fantastic weekend in Yorkton, Saskatchewan! She then went on to win Best of Breed in October 2008 and Best of Opposite (among others) in November. Then she concluded 2008 by being awarded Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed at the Calgary show. Check out her complete 2008 show results below.

Tawny loves wrestling and especially with our granddaughter.

Labradors are often very gentle dogs with a great maternal instinct.
When she was just five months old, Tawny played with one of Molly's puppies. It was amazing to watch how gentle Tawny was with the newborn.

Labs make great family pets.
