CH Teranjo Pegger's Golden Girl (Tawny) It is time to introduce the newest member of our family, CH Teranjo Pegger's Golden Girl. We call her "Tawny". Born December 15, 2007, Tawny is the daughter of BPIS CH Teranjo Peg of our Heart (Peggy) and CH Rocheby Sovereign (GRB) (Shilling).Tawny's mother, Peggy, followed in her parents' footsteps, mother (Molly) CH Maplekrest Teranjo Miss Molly, and father (Bonzer) MBIS, BISS, CH Driftway Billabong, the Number One lab in Canada in 2004 & 2005, and second in Canada for 2006. And now Tawny is following in her mother's pawprints! She received her Canadian Championship at only 8 months of age following a fantastic weekend in Yorkton, Saskatchewan! She then went on to win Best of Breed in October 2008 and Best of Opposite (among others) in November. Then she concluded 2008 by being awarded Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed at the Calgary show. Check out her complete 2008 show results below.

 Spring fever hit Tawny this April when the first flock of geese flew overhead. She definitely has the labrador's instinct for hunting.

At the Evelyn Kenny Kennel & Obedience Club's Show in Springbank, Alberta from on July 11, 12, 13, 2008, 6-month old Tawny took Best Puppy two of the three days, and Reserve Winners Bitch all three days. Judges were Dr. Alvin Krause, Judi Elford, and Mary White. |

| What a weekend!! At the Shamrock Kennel & Obedience Club Show in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Tawny took Best of Breed in five of the six shows, and Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Breed in all six shows! She received her Canadian Championship at only 8 months! Pictured with Judge Darle Heck and Junior Handler, Michele Gaudet. Following her Canadian Championship announcement, Tawny participated in the Battle River Canine Association's Dog Show in Camrose, Alberta from October.3 - 5, 2008. She received Winner Female under Judge Gwen Johnston and Best of Breed under Judge Ann Hennigan. |

Tawny continued her winning ways at the Red Deer and District Kennel Club's Fall Dog Show from October 31 - November 2, 2008. On Friday, Tawny received Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed under Judge Pat Trotter, Best of Opposite on Saturday, and Best of Opposite and Best Puppy in Breed on Sunday. She was just 10 months old.At the Calgary Kennel and Obedience Club Show at the end of November, under judge Thomas Touzel, Tawny was awarded Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed. She was handled by Michelle Gaudet. This is her last show as a puppy, and we couldn't be more proud. (Pictured here at 11 months.) |
